Wanted to encourage you! You are a good and faithful servant that has a wonderful way to deliver your message. Thanks for sharing from the heart! Love you!
Thank you so much!
Just got chance to listen to this and found it speaking volumes. I did find it quite interesting when you commented on Pastors who have churches of less than a hundred people are often not listened to or taken notice of or understood as people of influence in the wider circles. That is indeed a phenomina that happens over here too however in our movement there are loads of smaller local village or town churches that are well bellow that number averaging about forty or so, and of the Pastors who I know from many of these I have never heard any of them being asked to speak at conferences. For such opportunities they choose ministers from the bigger city churches of two hundred plus. Over here, especially in the wider circles of the movement I belong to high numbers are the sign of success and often of your worth and if you’re not a ‘pastor’ forget ever having a wider audience.
I thought this was a very timely and profound podcast, it spoke volumes to me as I am in ministry, not pastoral but independantly teaching and writing, trying to wade through the very circumstances you describe, I have been greatly encouraged and have heard from the Lord through your words. You are fantastic….many rich blessing be yours!
Thank you Paul for these encouraging words. The vast majority of ministers are in such a position as you described. We must encourage one another in our calling. Peace!
