Fairly Spiritual:  The Temporal Page

2009

Think of our home page as an experiment in temporal, random musings.  Weekly updated, weakly updated, possibly archived, possibly posted and quickly deleted.  You just can’t be certain.

This Website is going through some big changes.  In the future I will dedicate this domain to my non radio related evangelistic endeavors.  Below is a press release about my new radio show.

On Monday, January 11th, 2010 KGNW 820 am is launching a new daily talk show with a fresh local voice and a unique Northwest perspective.

Live from Seattle with Doug Bursch.

“Your Daily Dose of Truth, Hope, and Humor.”

Every weekday from 4 to 6 pm we bring KGNW 820 am listeners 2 hours of outstanding audio wonderment with at least 23 minutes of general bewilderment.

Our talk show tackles the everyday issues facing ordinary people.  Consequently, our topics range between the profound and the trivial; the sacred and the secular; the awe inspiring and the downright perplexing.

It is our sincere desire to take an honest but playful look at ourselves and our culture.  Instead of heckling our enemies, we look at our own faults, failings, and inconsistencies.  Instead of spending all our time tearing people down, we build each other up.  We try to have fun as we do our best to facilitate a better conversation.

Hey, reasonable people can disagree on all sorts of issues.  Even so, we don’t have to be jerks about it!

Live from Seattle with Doug Bursch is sort of a cross between Billy Graham and Seinfeld.  We have the humor of Billy Graham and the theology of Seinfeld.  Or is it the other way around?

Regardless, our daily goal is to provide a place where people can find truth, hope, and humor.  Well maybe they won’t find humor, but at least they know we’re trying.  I mean two out of three isn’t that bad.

Live from Seattle with Doug Bursch.  Weekdays from 4 to 6 pm on KGNW 820 am.  For more information go to www.kgnw.com
